A few weeks back i was invited to do a Strömsö episode at their pretty estate/filming location in Vaasa.

Program host Elin and I made a shawl in wool, while I tried to open up my design process for how I look for colors outdoors, tale photo notes of them and then translate those into color patterns in wool. I did the warp and a basic threading and pattern the day before and the next day we filmed.
Filming was fun, but even more fun was getting to see how an episode (or rather a part there of) is made, their location and how the studio kitchen, living rooms and of course the hobby room is set up. It's all so real when you come face to face with it!
